Episode 1: Introduction

By: Arian | October 11th, 2007

I’m going to make this quick and simple.

Welcome to the blog dedicated to the people who are “green and white – day and night”. People who love Werder, who talk Werder, who think Werder, who eat Werder, who sleep Werder etc etc. With one word… People who live Werder. I’m Arian from Macedonia. I will be your Werder Bremen dealer to all you green & white addicts. I’m going to give you match previews, team news, transfer gossip, post match analysis and a lot of other things related to the team.

Werder has a great team. They are expected to be one of the contestants for the title. But injuries of first-team players prevented them to play as they know and as they’re able to play. However things are getting slightly better now. Injured players are recovering and we’re third in the league with 17 points (Karlsruher are second with 18p and Bayern first with 23p. So it’s not quite a big distance between us and the first place).

So that’s all for now. I’ll post again later with some news and a brief preview of the squad and transfers this season. And the Werder – Hertha match preview is coming in the following days.

Editor’s Note: There will in fact be a design for this blog that does not feature Arsenal’s colors and logo :-)

Juliet: now with the Munich/Bremen rivalry represented on this blog, we should really find someone to open up a Schalke blog to give Steven a foe he can blog against. ;-)

Diego Klimowicz played for Wolfsburg. Not Werder. :)
And now he plays for Borussia Dortmund.
