Playing Leapfrog Atop the Table

By: Jamie | November 28th, 2009

I just wanted to write briefly and thank Gladbach for beating Schalke and thus relieving me of my fears that they would top the table this evening. Instead, it is our Green-Whites that leapfrog Leverkusen once again to sit atop the mountain that is the Bundesliga standings after a 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg. It was my beloved defender Per Mertesacker who scored into injury time to earn Werder a point (whether it was deserved, I shall find out later).

Match report to follow once I have watched the match on ESPN360. I was stuck in the car on my way back from a Thanksgiving trip, so only managed to keep up with the score on my mobile.

A draw against Wolfsburg is not bad. We need to maintain our league position though – can’t afford to drop any more points.

By the way, is this EPSN360 only restricted to US?

Rahul – yes, unfortunately I do think ESPN360 is restricted to the US. It is part of the cable providers here.

ESPN360 is available in Europe as well but you can only chose to subscribe to either a College Football Pass or the NHL – no “soccer” or anything.
