Preview: Hertha BSC vs. Werder Bremen
By: Jamie | August 29th, 2009Tomorrow, Matchday 4 sends Werder to Germany’s capital to take on Arne Friedrich and his Hertha boys. The “Old Lady” may not have gotten off to the best start so far (3 points from three matches), but last season they were strong at home. This corresponding fixture saw the boys in green heading back to Bremen with a 2-1 loss in their pockets.

With Pizarro on a roll and Werder looking potent in attack again, I feel like we have a good chance of picking up three points from the Olympiastadion.
However, we will be without the potential super sub services of Hugo Almeida, who picked up a foot injury last weekend against Moenchengladback. Sebastian Proedl also recently underwent anthroscopic surgery on his knee, so those two players will be sidelined for a while.
