By: Jackson | December 9th, 2008As I expected the Deutscher Fußball-Bund disciplinary board cracked down on Diego for violent conduct against Christian Eichner near the conclusion of the Karlsruhe SC match with a four match ban.
He will now miss Bundesliga matches against VfL Wolfsburg, Arminia Bielefeld, Schalke 04 and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
As with Claudio Pizarro’s display, that rightfully was given a three-match ban, Werder is showing little signs of discipline in play and overall conduct. Thomas Schaaf needs to remind his team to have respect for the shirt they were and the club he has spent over forty years with.
